These are the cream of the crop, some of the most lust worthy, rare and beautiful cars out there. From 80-year-old Bugattis to the Reventon, of which only a handful were ever built. We look at the most gorgeous cars you can buy for over £1 million.

Ferrari 250 GTO

The 250 GTO, built in the early 1960’s by Ferrari, is one of the most iconic sports cars of all time. When you say Ferrari, it’s the car that comes to mind with its extended bonnet and quintessential Ferrari sex appeal! So maybe it’s no surprise that last year the Ferrari 250 GTO became the world’s most expensive car, when it sold in for $35 million to Craig McCaw. Now that’s some serious wonga!

In this following photograph, there is approx £80 million ($120 million) worth of Ferrari cars in one picture.

1968 Ford GT40 Gulf/Mirage

With its powder blue colour and iconic marigold stripe, the 1968 Ford GT40 Gulf/Mirage is not a car easily forgotten. Aside from proving itself an exceptional race car back in the late 60s it was also an onscreen hit after being driven by Steve McQueen in the action blockbuster Le Mans. It’s not a surprise then that this lightweight sports car / film star reached a whopping $11 million at auction.

Here’s a video of this bad boy in action:

1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe

It wouldn’t be a “most expensive list” if we didn’t chuck a Bugatti in there somewhere. And this particular model is wholly deserved of the title, with its slick black exterior and 100% plush interior it’s no surprise this stunning design cuts the mustard. The 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe was auctioned off in London by Christie’s, where it was snapped up for the bargain price tag of $9.8 million.

1937 Mercedez-Bens 540 K Spezial Roadster

This stunning model is so exclusive only 25 were ever produced. The supercharged 5.4 litre engine is clever concealed with the voluptuous design. This makes our list for selling at auction for $9.68 million! The particular model sold was bought by a clothing mogul from Buenos Aires in 1937. Designer clothes, posh cars, we can dream…

Fenice Milano Rolls Royce

Gold tooth sporting, yet well-heeled gangster? Then this is the car for you! With two colour options, either tan and white or purple, this edition of the Rolls Royce Ghost is just the right amount of bling. The allow wheels, front grille, centre panel of the engine bonnet have all been finished in 24-carat gold for ultimate street cred. So if you’ve got a spare $3 million then snap one up!

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

The super sporty looking Bugatti Veyron Super Sport unofficially holds the 0-320 km/h (200 mph) world record at 13.7 seconds, beating the official world record holder the Koenigsegg Agera R by a tantalising 4 seconds. For a cool $2.6 million you can get your hands on your very own and get whizzing.

Aston Martin One-77

With only 77 models made (hence the name) getting your paws on one of these bad boys could be quite a mission. But if it’s design you’re after, it could be worth the fight. It’s got design awards coming out of its ears from the Concorso d’Eleganza Design Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes to the “Best Design” award by the UK motoring magazine Auto Express. So if you’re a design freak with a spare $1.4 million this is the car for you. If that doesn’t seem like a good value for money, you can get an Aston Martin on finance. Still a good head-turner regardless of the fact that it’s used.

Lamborghini Reventon

With an exterior inspired by “fast aeroplanes” and a recorded speed of 211 miles per hour, this little gem is quite the thrill seeker. The Lamborghini Reventon has appeared in Forza Motorsport 4, which was described as being so rare “you’d have a better chance of seeing a unicorn.” Damn! At $1.6 million that’s probably not a bad thing mind.

This is what the Reventon sounds like :

Koenigsegg Agera

The name ‘Agera’ is from the Swedish word ‘agera’ which means “to take action”, no surprise it was the winner of TopGears 2010 “Hypercar of the Year” title then! Snazziest feature? The car’s hardtop roof can be stowed under the front hood lid. For $1.7 million the Koenigsegg Agera is yours!

Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster

This ultra-cool design of the Roadster features a monochrome palette with a pop of red, just the right amount of pizzazz. With only five being sold, this is one exclusive car! We love the different drive modes, which mean the car is equal amounts of fun on the road or the racetrack. Oh, and did we mention it gets 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds? $1.8 million will buy you this, if you can find it!

No car sounds better than a Zonda as this video shows…
